The Ryedale Festival announces its 2026 season.

Below are the vocal events.

The Dunedin Consort featuring soprano Jessica Cale, tenors Nicholas Mulroy and Samuel Boden, bass Chris Webb perform works by Purcell, John Blow, Henry Hall, and William Croft.

Performance Date: July 10, 2026


Tenor Mark Padmore and pianist Christopher Glynn present Schubert’s “Winterreise.”

Performance Date: July 11, 2026


Soprano Maryam Wocial and pianist Audrey Hyland perform works by Dvořák, Rachmaninov, Madeleine Dring, Fauré, Liza Lehman, and others in the Waverley Young Artists II recital.

Performance Date: July 13, 2026


The Gesualdo Six perform a concert of works by Byrd, David Bednall, Vaughan Williams, Alison Willis, Joby Talbot, and others.

Performance Date: July 14, 2026


The Gesualdo Six perform alongside cellist Josephine Knight.

Performance Date: July 14, 2026


The Gesualdo Six perform English Motets.

Performance Date: July 15, 2026


The Gesualdo Six conclude their residency with a concert with trumpeter Matilda Lloyd.

Opera North presents its s 40-minute interactive production of “Mini Magic Flute.”

BBC New Generation Artists soprano Erika Baikoff, violinist Hana Chang, pianist Zee Zee, and the Aris and NOVO Quartets perform.
