Ema Katrovas Headlines Schubert Club’s ‘Patricia Hampl: Writing My Way into Music’

Joined by pianist Dan Chouinard, Katrovas will present works by Dvorak, Janácek, and other Czech composers. The program will feature Hampl as she curates and narrates a concert that explores her lifelong passion for Czech music.
Katrovas is a Czech-American soprano who has worked with such organizations as the Light Underground Festival where she presented “Prague City Gallery.” She has also appeared with the Kammer Oper Prague, F.X. Salda Theater in Liberec, the Siilecian Theater in Opava, the Bach Archiv in Leipzig, and the John Cage Institute in Halberstadt.
The performance kicks off at 7:30 p.m. local time.
