Elizabeth Caballero, Kyle Albertson, Richard Troxell Headline Second ‘Candlelight Opera Salon’

The Phoenicia Festival of the Voice will present a second “Candlelight Opera Salon” concert at The Knickerbocker Room in Naples, Florida on Jan. 9, 2021.

The presentation will feature three international opera artists including the Cuban-American soprano Elizabeth Caballero, the tenor Richard Troxell, and bass-baritone Kyle Albertson. The trio will perform a number of crowd-favorite opera selections and will be accompanied by pianist Milana Strezeva.

This is the second in the “Candlelight Opera Salon” concert following a similar showcase featuring bass Morris Robinson, soprano Jasmine Habersham and tenor Adam Diegel. That performance took place on Dec. 19, 2020 and per a press release, sold out in five days.

“These concerts were created as an act of resilience in the performing arts, which have been decimated by the pandemic leaving artists with whole seasons canceled and audiences without being able to hear live performance, which of course is what opera is truly about,” says the Phoenicia Festival of the Voice Foundation in Naples in an official press release.
