The Broadstage has announced its 2023-24 season. Here is a rundown of the classical vocal performances.

Lise Davidsen makes her company debut in a recital alongside James Baillieu as part of the Celebrity Opera Recital Series.

Performance Date: Sept. 17, 2023

The second of three performances in the Celebrity Opera Recital Series will feature Joseph Calleja.

Performance Date: Nov. 11, 2023

In time for the holiday season, The Tallis Scholars perform “While Shepherds Watched,” a program that showcases the Christmas story from the perspective of the Shepherds. Audiences will hear music by Clemens non Papa, Christo, Croce, and Obrecht, among others.

Performance Date: Dec. 15, 2023

The company will team up with LA Opera and Beth Morrison Projects to present Huang Ruo’s “Book of Mountains and Seas.”

Performance Date: April 10-14, 2024

Finishing out the Celebrity Opera Series will be Elīna Garanča, who appears alongside conductor Karel Mark Chichon and an orchestra.
