On July 18, Eleonora Buratto encored “Vissi d’Arte” at the Puccini Festival during the opening performance of “Tosca.”

The soprano performed the title role alongside Adam Smith and Ludovic Tézier in a production by Maria Todaro. Carlo Montanaro conducted.

Buratto has performed title role of “Tosca” at the Bayerische Staatsoper and with the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

She returns to the role this season at the Metropolitan Opera and the Bayerische Staatsoper.
