The soprano is coming off a major triumph at the Royal Opera Muscat in her first-ever performances of Délibes’ “Lakmé.”

“First of all the music is very beautiful and I want to prove to myself  that after 29 years of singing, I can sing this really difficult role,” the soprano told OperaWire in a recent interview regarding taking on this particular opera “20 years late.”

Next up for Mosuc will be a performance of Puccini’s “La Rondine” at the Auditorio Nacional de Musica in Madrid. She follows that with another performance at the Gala Lirica of the Teatro Monumental, also in Madrid. From there she will appear in Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, and Germany in a number of different operas, including “Rigoletto” and “I Lombardi Alla Prima Criociata.”
