Elena Moșuc To Celebrate 30th Anniversary

Elena Moșuc is set to celebrate her 30th anniversary in a one night gala at the Bucharest Sala Radio.

The event is an idea by musicologist Dr. Luminița Arvunescu, who will also host the concert that will include the famous “Casta diva” from “Norma,” the mad scene from “Anna Bolena,” and the finale scene of Verdi’s “I Lombardi.”  The soprano will also perform “Poesia per una sognatrice” by Flavio Motalla, which was written for Moșuc.

Kulcsár Szabolcs will conduct the Orchestra Natională Radio and Corul Academic Radio.

Moșuc is a beloved soprano who has performed at the Opernhaus Zurich, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, the Metropolitan Opera, Wiener Staatsoper, Arena di Verona, and Opéra National de Paris, among others. Her repertoire includes the works of Mozart, Bellini, Donizetti, Rossini and Verdi, among others.

The concert to be performed on March 27, 2020.
