Elena Mosuc to Celebrate 30th Anniversary of her international Career

On May 30, Elena Mosuc will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of her international career.

The soprano will perform in a Gala Concert at the Bucharest National Opera under conductor Maestro Daniel Jinga. Mosuc will sing arias and ensemble from “Norma,” “Otello,” “Roberto Devereux,” “Rigoletto,” and “La Traviata” and will be joined by Romanian artists Oana Andra, Daniel Magdal, Lucian Petrean, and Alin Stoica.

Christoph Hebeisen, Mosuc’s life partner, will make a special appearance conducting the soprano in“Vissi d’arte” from “Tosca.”

Mosuc made her stage debut in 1990 as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s “Die Zauberflöte” and became one of the most sought out singers in Bel Canto repertoire. She went on to sing works by Mozart, Bellini, Verdi, Donizetti, and Puccini, among others. Her career also led her to the world’s greatest stages including the Opernhaus Zurich, the Teatro alla Scala, the Opéra National de Paris, the Arena di Verona, the Metropolitan Opera House, and the Wiener Staatsoper, among others.
