EastWest Artistry NYC will present “Autumn Melodies: An Evening of Music, Art & Connection,” a salon concert, on Sept. 17 at Opera America in New York.

The 45-minute program opens with a duet, “Sull’aria” from “Le Nozze di Figaro,” performed by Lingli Zhou and Lena Wu.

Zhou, a soprano, will also perform selections including “Ach, ich fühl’s” from “Die Zauberflöte” and “Deh vieni, non tardar” from “Le Nozze di Figaro.”

Violinist Sendi Vartanovi will perform Amy Beach’s Romance and Sulkhan Tsintsadze’s “Sachidao,” while guitarist Richard Johansson will play Johann Kaspar Mertz’s “An Malvina” and “Liebeslied.”

Pianist Xiaolie (Leo) Liu will close the program with the Habanera from Bizet’s “Carmen Suite,” arranged by Karen Kornienko, and Ernesto Lecuona’s “Malagueña” from his “Suite Andalucía.”

Following the performance, which is curated and produced by Lena Wu, Founder and Artistic Director of EastWest Artistry NYC, audiences will have the opportunity to meet the artists.
