This week two essential releases will be made available. The first comes one of the great tenors of his generations and the other is a Donizetti compilation for Bel Canto lovers.

Romantique

Dmitry Korchak releases his latest album on streaming platforms and CD via Decca. The new album includes arias from Bizet, Donizetti, Gounod, Rossini and Massenet. Patrick Fournillier conducta the Russian National Orchestra.

Donizetti Heroines

Dynamic releases a compilation set of some of the greatest Donizetti operas.

The set includes DVDs of “Lucia di Lammermoor, “Anna Bolena,” “Marie Stuarda,” “Roberto Devereux,” “Il Castello di Kenilworth,” and “La Favorite,” among others. Stars include Jessica Pratt, Veronica Simeoni, Carmela Remigio, Mariella Devia, Patrizia Ciofi, Joseph Calleja, Eva Mei, and Sonia Ganassi.
