Soprano Diana Damrau and bass Nicolas Testé are set to perform at The Broad Stage on April 24, 2022.

The showcase, which will take place in Santa Monica, California, will feature the international opera stars alongside pianist Maciej Pikulski.The first half of the program will feature music by Duparc, Thomas, Strauss, Gounod, Donizetti, Bellini, and Chopin. After the interval, audiences will be treated to works by Ponchielli, Rachmaninoff, Lehar, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Ross, and Lerner and Loewe.

Damrau’s upcoming slate includes recitals with Jonas Kaufmann in Barcelona, Hamburg, and Berlin, followed by her role debut in “Capriccio” in Munich this July. The soprano will also perform recitals in Salzburg, Schwarzenberg, London, and Baden-Baden.

Testé is set to appear in a production of “La Bohème” at the Met Opera in May, followed by performances of “Norma” in Barcelona in July.
