Diana Damrau has canceled her upcoming recitals in Germany, Belgium, and New York.

The soprano took to social media and said, “I am saddened to share the news that I have had to cancel my recitals at Schlosstheater Fulda, Carnegie Hall, and Bozar Brussels due to an acute upper respiratory infection. I hope for a speedy recovery and I look forward to seeing you all next time. Yours, Diana.”

Damrau was set to perform alongside Helmut Deutsch in a program featuring works by Robert and Clara Schumann, Richard Strauss, Joaquín Rodrigo, Enrique Granados, Joaquín Turina, and Fernando Obradors.

The soprano returns to the stage on Feb. 14 in Vienna for a recital and then on March 30 for her Spring in Vienna concert.
