DG Stage is set to stream Anna Netrebko’s Met Stars Live in Concert on Sept. 17, 2021.

The concert, which was filmed earlier this year, was held at Vienna’s historic Spanish Riding School.

The program featured Netrebko’s Night and Day recital which includes a selection of art songs and opera excerpts in five languages. The recital included music by Debussy, Dvořák, Leoncavallo, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Richard Strauss.

Netrebko was accompanied by pianist Pavel Nebolsin and joined by mezzo Elena Maximova in two duets.

DG Stage has previously streamed several of Netrebko’s performances. The company first showcased “Tosca” from the Teatro San Carlo’s summer 2020 season and later showcased another production of “Tosca” from the Wiener Staatsoper.

Netrebko recently performed “Turandot” at the Arena di Verona and is set to return to the Salzburg Festival for “Tosca” alongside Yusif Eyvazov and Ludovic Tezier.
