DePaul Chamber Choir & DePaul Baroque Ensemble to Present Music by Charpentier, Leonarda & Schütz

Chicago’s DePaul Chamber Choir and DePaul Baroque Ensemble are set to present a unique program dedicated to the music of Charpentier, Leonarda, and Schütz on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2024.

The program, led by Jason Moy and featuring pianist Boris Krivoshein will commence with a performance of Charpentier’s “In nativitatem Domini canticum H. 416.” The vocal soloists for the performance include tenor Dominic Reyes, tenor Alan Krolikowski, baritone Jake Hanes, and mezzo-soprano Brooke Craig.

Then comes Leonarda’s “Magnificat” with Schütz’s “Jubilate Deo omnis terra,” SWV 332 from “Kleine Geistliche Konzerte II” concluding the showcase.

The program begins at 8 p.m. at Gannon Concert Hall and is expected to run until 9 p.m.
