Delaware Valley Opera Announces 2021 Season

Delaware Valley Opera has announced its summer 2021 season.

It all kicks off with an “Operetta Concert” featuring music by Gilbert and Sullivan, Léhar, Romberg, Herbert, and many others. The showcase will star Annie Chester, Marcus Huber, Elise Mark, Ken Parks, Brooke Schooley, Jonathan Stinson, and Nicholas Wuehrman. Matthew Rupcich will conduct the performance, which will be directed by Nicholas Wuehrmann and accompanied by Erica Rome.

Performance Dates: July 10 & 11, 2021 

Next up will be an “Opera Concert” featuring famed arias from the standard repertory. The cast will be announced at a later date.

Performance Dates: July 24 & 25, 2021 

As the summer draws to a close, the company will present “Opera Cowgirls.”

Performance Dates: August 14 & 15, 2021 

The 2021 season will draw to a close during the holiday season with a production of David Conte’s “The Gift of the Magi.”

Performance Dates: Dec. 4 & 5, 2021
