Decibel Magazine is now streaming “Chant III – Le Reflet” by “Les Chants du Hasard.”

The track is part of “Livre Troisième,” an eight-part “neoclassical bombast, gothic opera” that features major elements of metal. The work was created by Hazard and is set for an album release on April 9, 2021. The album will feature Hazard as well as soprano Marfa Khovansky, soprano Melitza Torres, and other singers including Vaerohn and Göran Setitus.

“Chant III – Le Reflet” is the first single of the new album.

“Despite its simple structure, this song is the one I spent the most time working on. The goal was to have a contrast as big as possible between the parts with metal voices and those with the soprano and choirs, resulting in maybe the most intense song of this album,” stated Hazard in a press release.

“Livre Premier” debuted in 2017 with “Livre Second” unveiled in 2019.
