David Serero To Perform Verdi’s ‘Nabucco’

Verdi’s “Nabucco” is set to be performed Off-Broadway in a production featuring baritone David Serero.

The opera will be performed at the Center for Jewish History, New York with soloists with Leslie Swanson as Abigaille, Javier Ortiz as Zaccaria, Michael Celentano as Ismaele, and Robin Bradley as Fenena with Shawn Chang conducting.

Serero is a recognized baritone who has performed in Carnegie Hall and Opera de Paris, while Swanson has performed with the Bronx Opera Company and the Hudson Lyric Opera.

Ortiz is a Resident Artist at Opera North, the Dutch Opera Studio, and Sarasota Opera, while Celentano has performed with the Tri-Cities Opera in Binghamton, NY, Bronx Opera and, is set to perform in the ensemble for The Metropolitan Opera’s upcoming 2019 production of “Götterdämmerung.” Bradley has performed with Pittsburgh Festival Opera, the Cedar Rapids Opera Theatre, and Martina Arroyo’s Prelude to Performance Program.

Performances are set for May 10 through June 2, 2019
