
David Bizic, Atalla Ayan, Sinéad Campbell Wallace, Celine Byrne & Sean Michael Plumb Lead Irish National Opera’s 2026-27 Season

The company will present Absolute scenes from “Carmen,” “The Barber of Seville” and “Così fan tutte.” The evening will feature Laura Aherne, Heather Sammon, Olga Palazhchenko, David Kennedy and William Pearson.
Performance Date: June 28 & July 4, 2026
Tarik O’Regan & Colm Tóibín’s “Testament” will be conducted by Elaine Kelly and directed by Rachael Hewer. The production will star Sharon Carty, Deirdre Higgins, Sarah Luttrell, Oisín Ó Dálaigh, Ben Escorcio, and David Kennedy.
Performance Dates: July 24-26, 2026
“INO Gala Celebration: Solstice at Twenty” will feature Claudia Boyle and Séan Boylan.
Performance Date: Oct. 2, 2026
Niamh O’Sullivan, Atalla Ayan, Stacey Alleaume, and David Bizic lead Bizet’s “Carmen” with Fergus Sheil conducting the production by Paul Curran.
Performance Dates: Nov, 2-7, 2026
Smetana’s “The Bartered Bride” will star Amy Ní Fhearraigh, Egor Zhuravskii, Carolyn Holt, David Howes, John Molloy, Rebecca Afonwy-Jones, Julian Close, William Pearson, Megan O’Neill, Ben Escorcio, and Matthew Mannion.
Performance Dates: Nov, 21-Dec. 12, 2026
Rameau’s “Les Boréades” will star Lila Dufy, Kieran White, Seán Boylan, Dan D’Souza, Kelli-Ann Masterson, and Megan O’Neill.
Performance Dates: Feb. 5-March 14,, 2027
Sinéad Campbell Wallace, Young Woo Kim, Celine Byrne, and Insung Sim lead Puccini’s “Turandot” with Maestro Valerio Galli conducting Sir David McVicar’s production.
Performance Dates: April 4-10, 2027
Sean Michael Plumb leads Tchaikovsky’s “Eugene Onegin” with Jennifer Davis, Evan LeRoy Johnson, Marvic Monreal, and James Creswell. Fergus Sheil conducts the production by Patrick Nolan.
Performance Dates: May 23-June 5, 2027
