Danielle de Niese to Receive Special Recognition at Olivier Awards

The Olivier Awards have announced the recipients of the award for Outstanding Contribution Award and Industry Recognition Award.

The awards body announced that Danielle de Niese will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Opera Award for her distinctive career, blending operatic credibility with musical theatre style.

Meanwhile, Sir Wayne McGregor will receive the Outstanding Contribution to Dance Award for his trailblazing innovations in performance that have radically redefined dance in the modern era.

The Olivier Award nominations will be announced on March 5. The awards will be held at the Royal Albert Hall on April 12, 2026.
