Daniela Mack to Headline Opera San Antonio’s La Cenerentola’

Opera San Antonio (OSA) is set to kick off its 2026-27 season with a production of Rossini’s “Cinderella.”

Set for Oct. 15 and 17, 2026 at the H-E-B Performance Hall at the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, the production originated at Lyric Opera of Kansas City and is inspired by the visual style of filmmaker Wes Anderson. The opera will be presented in collaboration with the Orchestra San Antonio and stars mezzo-soprano Daniela Mack stars as Angelina, tenor Victor Robertson as Prince Ramiro, and baritone Will Liverman as Dandini. Other cast members include bass-baritone Patrick Carfizzi as Don Magnifico, Katherine Henly as Clorinda, Lauryn Nelson as Tisbe, and Stefan Egerstrom as Alidoro.

OSA Music Director Francesco Milioto conducts the Orchestra San Antonio. Michael Shell directs.

“Cinderella is pure operatic joy,” said E. Loren Meeker, executive director of OPERA San Antonio, per an official press release. “Rossini gives us extraordinary music, brilliant comedy, and a heroine whose kindness and intelligence ultimately determine her future.”
