
Daniel Vening Joins Askonas Holt for Management
By Francisco SalazarDaniel Vening has joined the roster of Askonas Holt for worldwide general management.
The British bass will be represented by Angelica Conner and Charlotte Bateman.
Vening is a member of the International Opera Studio of the Bayerische Staatsoper and this season sings Arnold in “Die Englische Katze,” Gardener in “La traviata,” Court Clerk in “Rigoletto,” the Prison Guard in “Tosca” and ‘un vecchio zingaro’ in “Il Trovatore.”
He is a Jerwood Young Artist at the Glyndebourne Festival in 2025, and the previous summer saw him make his acclaimed BBC Proms debut as Bottom in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with Garsington Opera alongside Iestyn Davies and Lucy Crowe.
A finalist of the Neue Stimmen Competition, Vening is also winner of the Graham Clark Award at Garsington Opera, and the Lewis Memorial Prize and Richard Lewis/Jean Shanks Award at the Royal Academy of Music, where he attended Royal Academy Opera.
