Dallas Symphony Orchestra Partners With byVINNIK
By Afton MarkayThe Los Angeles–based luxury, size-inclusive fashion label byVINNIK is dressing soprano Jennifer Rowley in Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s production of Puccini’s “Madama Butterfly.”
Founded by opera singer turned fashion designer Suzanne Vinnik, byVINNIK is known for its dramatic, ethically made ready-to-wear locally produced garments. Not only does this collaboration dress Rowley, but audience members will be able to purchase select garments worn in the performance via a QR code in the program.
The timing of this collaboration is especially resonant. According to Pinterest Predicts, the biggest fashion trend for 2026 is “Opera Aesthetic,” a movement defined by drama, excess, emotional storytelling, and historical reference.
Vinnik’s designs have appeared on “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” in Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” music video, “The Today Show,” and red carpets nationwide. Most recently, Vinnik was named in “Vogue” for her designs featured on HBO’s “The White Lotus,” which earned an Emmy nomination for Best Contemporary Costumes.
The collaboration will take place during Dallas Symphony Orchestra’s run of “Madama Butterfly.”
