Tenor and drag artist Creatine Price will premiere “Project Creatine” on June 12 at the Institute of Contemporary Art Boston.

Conceived and performed by Creatine Price, the stage name of Jordan Weatherston Pitts, the work, which blends classical opera, drag performance, cabaret, memoir, and contemporary theater, follows its heroine through city life, love, ambition, and self-discovery in what amounts to a large-scale theatrical memoir built around themes of identity and artistic self-definition. The premiere coincides with Pride Month.

Price has performed with New York City Opera and Lincoln Center, and has appeared with the BBC Concert Orchestra as well as on international television.

The showcase kicks off at 8 p.m. local time.
