Craig Verm, Teresa Perrotta, Liv Redpath, Christophe Dumaux, Louise Alder Headline Opera Omaha’s 2024-25 Season

Opera Omaha has announced its 2024-25 season.

The season opens with Mozart’s “Don Giovanni,” which returns to Opera Omaha for the first time since 2011. Craig Verm, Teresa Perrotta, Erika Baikoff, Edwin Jhamal Davis, Mary Evelyn Hangley, Terrence Chin-Loy, and Zachary Nelson.

Judith Yan conducts and Kristine McIntyre directs.

Performance Dates: Oct. 18 & 20, 2024

Steven White will conduct “The Rake’s Progress” in its Opera Omaha premiere. Adrian Kramer, Craig Culclough, Liv Redpath, Margaret Gawrysiak, Rehanna Thelwell, and Brian Jeffers will star.

Performance Dates: Feb. 7 & 9, 2025

Opera Omaha will present “Giulio Cesare” for the first time in its history. Harry Bicket conducts The English Concert and a cast starring Christophe Dumaux, Louise Alder, Paula Murrihy, John Holiday, and Beth Taylor.

Performance Dates: May 1, 2025

The season ends with “Fantastic Mr. Fox.” Alison Moritz directs and Gil Rose conducts. This is the Opera Omaha premiere of the Tobias Picker and Donald Sturrock opera.

Performance Dates: June 5-8, 2025
