Constantin Goubet, Adèle Carlier & Marielou Jacquard Lead Stream of ‘Actéon’ From Théâtre du Châtelet

Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s opera “L’Actéon” will be streamed on ARTE TV on Feb. 16, 2021.

“L’Actéon,” a Pastorale in the form of a miniature tragédie en musique in six scenes, stars mezzo-soprano Marielou Jacquard in the role of Junon, soprano Adèle Carlier as Diane, and bass Constantin Goubet in the title role.

Geoffroy Jourdain conducts Les Cris de Paris Orchestre in a production by Benjamin Lazar. The opera was filmed at Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris on Dec. 6, 2020.

Constantin Goubet has been recently featured in the livestream of Rameau’s “Hippolyte et Aricie” from the Opéra Comique. Marielou Jacquard recently performed the role of Apolo in Sebastián Durón’s “Coronis” at Opéra de Limoges and Opéra de Rouen Normandie; and the role of Garcias in Massenet’s “Don Quichotte” at Opéra de Tours.

Adèle Carlier was recently seen in Handel’s biblical oratorio “Israel in Egypt” at Ópera de Bellas Artes.

The stream will be available for viewing on ARTE TV until Jan. 19, 2022.
