Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra Announces 2022-23 Season

The Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra has announced its 2022-23 season.

For the purposes of this article, our focus will be solely on vocal performances.

First up, the company will open with “Re:stos (Re:mains),” a concert focusing on the musical influences of Mexico. It will be headlined by vocalist Rosa Evangelina Beltran.

Performance Dates: Oct. 9 & 16, 2022

Next up is a production, alongside the Connecticut Lyric Opera, of “Tosca.”

Performance Dates: Nov. 2 & 11, 2022

Soprano Elisabeth Lyra Ross will headline “We the People,” a concert focusing on African-American music by such composers as Margaret Bonds, Chevalier de Saint Georges, and William Grant Still, among others.

Performance Dates: Feb. 12 & 19, 2023

Next up is a production of “Don Giovanni,” also with the Connecticut Lyric Opera.

Performance Dates: May 5 & 7, 2023
