Connecticut Lyric Opera to Showcase ‘Don Giovanni’ This May

Connecticut Lyric Opera is set to present a production of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” this May.

The opera will star Robert Garner as Don Giovanni, Nathan Resika as Leporello, Erin Duane Brooks as Don Ottavio, Jurate Svedaite as Donna Anna, Rebecca Almeida as Donna Elvira, Steven Fredericks as Commendatore, Jeremy Griffin as Masetto, and Stephanie Foster as Zerlina.

Conductor Adrian Sylveen will lead a production directed by Giorgio Lalov.

The production makes its first stop in New Britain on May 5 followed by a showcase at the Bushnell in Hartford on May 7. Five days later, on May 12, audiences in New London will get a chance to take in the opera. Then it all comes to a close on June 4 at the Santo Fragilio Performing Arts Center.
