Connecticut Lyric Opera to Present ‘Die Fledermaus’

The Connecticut Lyric Opera is set to present Johann Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus” in New Britain, Hartford, and New London.

The production will be conducted by Adrian Sylveen, Artistic Director of Connecticut Lyric Opera and Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, and directed by Jan Mason, Associate Artistic Director of Connecticut Lyric Opera.

Deborah Lifton will sing the role of Rosalinde von Eisenstein alongside Daniel Kamalić, Maria Margiolakou, Oswaldo Iraheta, Charles Eaton, Rongjun Li, Sung Shin, Rebecca Batista de Almeida, Rachel Abrams, Rob Esposito, and Joey Taylor (Ivan).

The production will open in time for the holiday season starting Dec. 26 at the Trinity-On-Main Arts Center.  The Dec. 30 performance will be held at The Belding Theater at The Bushnell Performing Arts Center while the Jan. 7 performance will take place at The Garde Arts Center.
