Connecticut Lyric Opera Announces 2019-20 Season

The Connecticut Lyric Opera has announced its 2019-20 season featuring three productions.

The season is set to open with Ullmann’s “The Emperor of Atlantis” starring Ivan Conrad, Justin Ryan, Joel Edwards, Daniel Kamalic, Jurate Svedaite, Felicia Baker, Steve Fredericks, and Rachel Abrams. Alan Mann directs the production with Adrian Sylveen conducting.

Performance Dates: Sept. 20- Oct. 13, 2019

The company is set to perform Wagner’s ‘Tristan und Isolde” with a cast to be announced at a later date.

Performance Dates: Nov. 8-30, 2019

The season concludes with J. Strauss’ “Die Fledermaus.” CLO’s Artistic Director, maestro Adrian Sylveen, will lead the Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra in this fully staged production directed by stage director Jan Mason with full chorus directed by Chorus Master Dara Blackstone.
