
Concurso Internacional de Canto Alfredo Kraus Announces 2025 Winners

The Concurso Internacional de Canto Alfredo Kraus has announced the 2025 winners.
The first prize went to Italian soprano Gesua Gallifoco, while the second prize was awarded to Georgian soprano Lina Tsiklauri. Finally, the third prize went to Italian soprano Jessica Ricci.
The competition also handed out three special prizes.
The audience award and Zarzuela award went to Korean baritone Hae Kang, and the best opera interpretation went to Georgian soprano Tsiklauri. Finally, the best Bel canto interpretation was awarded to Colombian mezzo Paola Leguizamón.
The evening saw the finalists perform alongside Óliver Díaz and the Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria.
Yolanda Auyanet led the jury, which included Isamay Benavente, Giovanni Vitali, Alessandro Galoppini, Alessandro di Gloria, Javier Menendez, and Ulises Jaen.
