Concours de Genève Announces Finalists for 2024 Vocal Competition

The 78th Concours de Genève has announced the 32 singers featured in its International Music Competition this October.

The singers include Stefanie Bruggeling, Lin Fan, Edwin Fardini, Julie Goussot, Liwei Hou, Shelen Hughes, Junho Hwang, Jungrae Noah Kim, SuHan Kim, Hyerim Kim, Elizaveta Kozlova, Kyrylo Krasnykov, Aleksandra Łaska, Dasol Lee, Ruoran Ma, Franciana Nogues, Changdai Park, Joseph Parrish, Hyunwoo Roh, Déborah Salazar, Anouchka Schwok,  Jaeeun Shin, Natalii Shumska, Barbara Skora, Fanny Soyer, Elisabeth St-Gelais, Peng Tian, Mala Weissberg, Lisa Willems, Sarah-Léna Winterberg, Mengting Wu,  and Chelsea Marilyn Zurflüh.

Per an official release, the artists’ breakdown features 16 sopranos, five mezzo-sopranos, five baritones, three tenors, three basses, and one bass-baritone. Fifteen of the 32 singers hail from Europe with 13 from Asia and four from the Americas.

The competition is set to take place between Oct. 15-23, 2024. The first public stage of the competition is set to take place in early Sept. 2. The online recital will be streamed on the organization’s YouTube channel as well Amadeus.tv and The Violin Channel.
