The fourth edition of the Concorso Internazionale dedicated to tenor Ottavio Garaventa will take place on Oct. 13-15, 2023.

The competition will be held at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genova with the finale scheduled for Oct. 15, 2023.

The competition will see a first prize and second prize winner as well as awards for Best Tenor, Best over 40 singer, audience award, and Best Puccini soprano award.

Artists from Bulgaria and Croatia will be directly invited to audition at the Teatri di Varna.

There will also be prizes for a Masterclass with Carlo Colombara and Marco Camastra which will lead to a role in “Il trovatore” on Feb. 24 & 25, 2024. Artists will also be evaluated for the posiblity of a role in “Madama Butterfly” and “Le Villi” organized by Parma OperArt and for reprsals for “Gianni Schicchi” and “Cavalleria Ruisticana,” among other futrue projects.
