Concerts at Saint Thomas Announces 2022 Winter Season

Concerts at Saint Thomas has announced its 2022 Winter Season.

The series will open with An Evening with Nico Muhly featuring Director of Music Jeremy Filsell leading chamber music with some of the most promising young artists in New York City, including John Ramseyer, Daniel Moody, and David Fung. Paired with Benjamin Britten’s “Abraham and Isaac” are Muhly’s “Four Traditional Songs,” “Lorne Ys My Likinge,“ “The Last Letter,” and selections for solo organ and piano.

Performance Date: Feb. 3, 2022

The second concert of the series will see a collaboration between the Saint Thomas Choir of Men and Boys and the Choir of Trinity Wall Street. J.S. Bach’s St. Matthew Passion will be presented in two performances at Saint Thomas Church and Trinity Church. Julian Wachner conducts and the choirs will be joined by soloists Thomas Colley and Jonathan Woody.
