British music publisher Boosey & Hawkes has signed 26-year-old British songwriter Grace-Evangeline Mason to be part of its publishing roster.

The new agreement covers Mason’s existing works, including orchestral, chamber, choral and electronic works, and the chamber opera “The Yellow Wallpaper,” as well as future commissions.

“I am elated to have signed with Boosey & Hawkes. Some of my very first music scores were published by B&H and so to now be included within its catalogue, with its rich history of illustrious and distinguished composers, is a true honor. I am looking forward to developing our relationship further and to all that the future holds with B&H,” Mason said in a press release.

“We are delighted with the new relationship between us with Grace-Evangeline Mason. Her chamber opera, The Yellow Wallpaper, was one of the first works to capture our attention, revealing a natural gift for theatrical expression and her musical knowledge strengthened our resolve to invite her, ”added Janis Susskind, CEO of Boosey & Hawkes.

Mason’s work has traveled extensively throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, Europe, Canada, Japan and South Africa. She is in the process of  completing her Doctoral studies at the Royal Academy of Music in London.
