Colombia’s Teatro Digital Announces Streams to Celebrate World Opera Day
By David SalazarColombia’s Teatro Digital streaming platform is set to celebrate World Opera Day with a series of unique productions.
On Oct. 25, and until Nov. 2, the company will stream productions of “Le Nozze di Figaro,” “La Vida es Sueño,” and “Lucia di Lammermoor.”
“Le Nozze di Figaro” is a presentation of a production by Pedro Salazar from the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo and La Compañía Estable. It stars José Antonio López, Julieth Lozano, Valeriano Lanchas, and Marcelo Guzzo, among others.
“La Vida es Sueño” was presented in July 2023 at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo. Valentine Tournet conducts.
Finally, the “Lucia di Lammermoor” transmission hails from 2018 at the Teatro Real de Madrid. It stars Lisette Oropesa and Javier Camarena.
