Étude Arts has announced that it will represent American tenor Colin Aikins for general management.

A native of Pittsburgh and a graduate of The Juilliard School, Aikins is a member of the International Opera Studio at the Staatsoper Hamburg. His 2025–26 season includes appearances in “Salome” and “Lohengrin,” conducted by Music Director Omer Meir Wellber, “Il trovatore” under Matteo Beltrami, and “Ariadne auf Naxos” led by Johannes Debus.

This season, he also makes his Seattle Opera debut as Timothy Laughlin in “Fellow Travelers” by Gregory Spears and Greg Pierce, presented with the New York–based collective Up Until Now.

Aikins recently sang the Prologue/Peter Quint in a new “Turn of the Screw” at Juilliard Opera, directed by Mary Birnbaum and conducted by Zachary Schwartzman. Additional Juilliard Opera credits include “Gianni Schicchi,” John Musto and Mark Campbell’s “Later the Same Evening,” and Purcell’s “King Arthur.”

As a recitalist, he has appeared with Brian Zeger at Juilliard Songfest, with Steven Blier and the New York Festival of Song, and with Pierre Vallet in a Liederabend.

He joins a roster that includes Paul Appleby, Fleur Barron, Peixin Chen, Clay Hilley, Miles Mykkanen, Sean Panikkar, Nikola Printz, Lauren Snouffer, and Aryeh Nussbaum Cohen.
