Norman Garrett headlines Verdi’s “Macbeth” with Alexandra LoBianco, David Junghoon Kim, and Zaikuan Song. David Angus conducts the production by Steve Maler.

Andris Nelsons conducts the Boston Symphony Orchestra in collaboration with the Boston Lyric Opera for Barber’s “Vanessa.” Jennifer Holloway, Samantha Hankey, Anne Sofie von Otter, Pavel Černoch, Thomas Hampson, and Wei Wu.

The Budapest Festival Orchestra and Iván Fischer will be featured in Mahler’s Symphony No. 3 with soloist Gerhild Romberger.

“She Was There” will feature a two-day event that brings together film, music, and dialogue to illuminate the often-overlooked stories of Black revolutionary women throughout history.
