Christine Browning Headlines Bloomingdale School of Music 2021-22 Faculty Concert Series

The Bloomingdale School of Music has announced its 2021-22 faculty concert series.

“Our faculty are excited to be back and perform for a live audience again. The last year has been difficult for professional performing artists in the NYC area and we are thrilled to be able to present such talented artists from our own school,” said Executive Director, Erika Atkins, in. a press statement. “This series offers our neighborhood as well as the school community the opportunity to experience professional performances in the intimate setting of Bloomingdale’s David Greer Concert Hall – for no cost.”

For the purposes of this article, our focus will be solely on vocal performances.

Soprano Christine Browning will performance a concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of composer Jack Beeson. She will be joined by Marc Peloquin at the piano.

Performance Date: Nov. 19, 2021

There will be a holiday concert featuring faculty and students.

Performance Date: Dec. 17, 2021

Christine Browning will present “For the Love of…” which will feature guest tenor Christopher Trapani and members of the Bloomingdale School of Music Broadway ensemble.

Performance Date: Feb. 11, 2022
