Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich announces its 2026-27 season.

Christina Nilsson performs Brahms under the baton of Nathalie Stutzmann.

Chen Reiss, pianist Yael Kareth, and clarinetist Sharon Kam perform works by Louis Spohr, Mahler, and Schubert.

Performance Date: Oct. 25, 2026


Lisa Larsson and the Zemlinsky Quartet perform “Homage to Clara.”

Performance Date: Nov. 15, 2026


Lisa Larsson returns to present works by Stenhammar and Grieg. Paavo Järvi conducts.

Performance Dates: Nov. 18, 19, & 21, 2026


The Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich and Zurich Conservatory of Music present “Christmas Carols.”

Performance Date: Dec. 6, 2026


Rossini’s “La scala di seta” features Leonardo Cortelazzi, Lucie Horsch, Álvaro Zambrano, Enrico Marabelli, and André Morsch. Eva Buchmann directs and Jan Willem de Vriend conducts.

Performance Dates: Dec. 11-13, 2026


Katharina Konradi, Marie Henriette Reinhold, Benjamin Bruns, and Tareq Nazmi solo in Mozart’s “Requiem.”
The Zurich Singing Academy joins. Paavo Järvi conducts.

Performance Dates: Jan. 27-29, 2027


Susanne Langbein and Werner Van Mechelen are joined by The Mixed Choir of Zurich in Brahms’ “A German Requiem.” Joachim Krause conducts.

Performance Dates: March 25 & 26, 2027


Eric Stoklossa, Matthias Winckhler, Céline Scheen, Tereza Zimková, Luciana Mancini, Aneta Petrasová, Jan Petryka. Ondřej Holub, Krešimir Stražanac, and Tomáš Šelc perform in Bach’s “St. Matthew Passion” with Collegium 1704 and Collegium Vocale 1704. Václav Luks conducts.

Performance Date: March 27, 2027


Gregory Feldmann and pianist Elaine Fukunaga perform works by Beethoven.

Performance Date: March 29, 2027


Rutter’s “Magnificat” is performed by Chelsea Zurflüh and the Harmonie Zurich Concert Choir. They are joined by organist Martin Heini. Peter Kennel conducts.

Performance Date: April 25, 2027


Mari Eriksmoen, Catriona Morison, Sebastian Kohlhepp, Audun Iversen, and The Zurich Singing Academy perform Beethoven’s “Symphony” No. 9 (arr. Mahler) with the organist Wayne Marshall. Paavo Järvi conducts.

Performance Dates: May 13 – 15, 2027


Julia Kleiter, Wiebke Lehmkuhl, Maximilian Schmitt, Christof Fischesser, and The Zurich Singing Academy present
Beethoven’s “Missa solemnis” under the baton of Paavo Järvi.

The Superar Suisse Choirs and Orchestra of Superar Suisse are led by Laida Alberdi. The program is yet to be announced.
