Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer is set to celebrate their 44th season with a holiday tour through the United States, titled “A Chanticleer Christmas.”

The program, which was seen nationwide through a PBS special and multiple appearances on NBC’s ‘Today Show,” pays tribute to some of the company’s most cherished traditions and the vision of their founder Louis Botto. Notable venues along the tour include NYC’s Church of St. Ignatius Loyola, Chicago’s Symphony Center, and LA’s Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as concerts throughout their Bay Area home.

The 12-voice, the all-male ensemble performs works spanning ten centuries, from Gregorian chant to jazz, spirituals, and contemporary music. Before the pandemic, they averaged 100 performances a year worldwide.

“After the only interruption in concert touring in our 44-year history, we are particularly excited to bring ‘A Chanticleer Christmas’ back to venues across the United States,” writes President and General Director Philip Wilder. “Hearing the sublime voices of our ensemble has become a holiday tradition for thousands of Chanticleer fans across the country, and we intend to make this Christmas a particularly special homecoming.”
