Chanticleer Announces 2024-25 Season

Multiple Grammy Award-winning vocal ensemble Chanticleer has released the details of its 2024-25 season.

Music director Tim Keeler leads the coast-to-coast tour, which opens in San Francisco, CA. Other stops include Birmingham, MI,Dallas, TX, Savannah, GA, Portland, OR, Washington, DC, and New York, NY, among many others.

“Without a Song” features Medieval and Renaissance motets by Francesco Landini and Orlando di Lasso, a new work by Grammy-nominated composer Ayanna Woods, the group’s 2023–24 composer-in-residence, and more.

Performance Dates: September 14, 2024- May 18, 2025

“Music of a Silent World” is held in Cleveland, OH, Madison, WI, and Atlanta, GA.

Performance Dates: September 24 & October 2 & 19, 2024

Two performances of “Sing Joyfully” are held in State College, PA, followed by a performance in Hanover, NH.

Performance Dates: September 25 & 26, 2024, & April 8, 2025

The “Echoes” concert is held for one night only, in Indianapolis, IN.

Performance Date: October 4, 2024

The ensemble’s annual holiday series “A Chanticleer Christmas” closes out the year.

Performance Dates: December 1 – 23, 2024

“Choodandi” is the ensemble’s Indian music-focused program curated by Chanticleer tenor Vineel Garisa Mahal. The program features music by composers ranging from Thyagaraja – a composer of classical Carnatic music – to contemporary songwriter Sid Sriram.

Performance Dates: March 16 – 23, 2025

A soundtrack of Renaissance madrigals and motets is heard in “Chanticleer and the Fox,” a program based on the Caldecott-winning children’s book of the same name. This concert is suitable for children of all ages.
