By David SalazarCentral City Opera is set to open its bilingual opera for families starting on June 15 at the Tabor Opera House.
The work in question is “En Mis Palabras / In My Own Words,” which was commissioned by the company back in 2005. It follows the story of a 15-year-old Latina who struggles with assimilating into American culture and leaving behind her Latino roots.
