Central City Opera to Present ‘Amahl and the Night Visitors’

The Central City Opera is set to present Gian Carlo Menotti’s “Amahl and the Night Visitors.”

The production will be staged at the Central Presbyterian Church in Denver for four performances on December 23 and 24.

In an official press statement issued by the company, director Daniela Guzmán- Égüez said, “Central City Opera warmly welcomes you to immerse yourself in a timeless tradition, brought to life by the exceptional talents of our cast and orchestra. We promise an experience that will resonate deeply, filling your heart!”

The opera will be directed by Daniela Guzmán- Égüez and conducted by Maestro John Baril. The performance will feature Brian Ericson as Amahl and Jennifer DeDominici as his mother. Original costumes will be designed by Mia Chase, a Senior in Costume Design at Denver School of the Arts.
