The Central City Opera has added a performance of Rossini’s “The Barber of Seville.”

The company said that due to overwhelming demand for this year’s production, the additional performance will take place on July 31, 2025, at 2 p.m.

In a statement, Adam Scurto, Managing Director of External Affairs at Central City Opera said, “The demand for this production has exceeded our high expectations. When audiences respond this positively, we’re committed to finding ways to accommodate that enthusiasm. We’re pleased to offer this additional matinee so our cast and creative team’s artistry can reach as large an audience as possible.”

The production will be directed by Eric Sean Fogel and will star Lisa Marie Rogali, Andrew Morstein, Luke Sutliff, and Stefan Egerstrom.

“The Barber of Seville” will open on June 28 and will run through August 3, 2025.
