This week we see the release of two full operas and a compilation by Anna Netrebko. Here is a look at what this week will offer.

Il Trovatore 

The Royal Opera and Opus Arte will release a production of Verdi’s ‘Il Trovatore” starring Gregory Kunde, Anita Rachvelshvili, Lianna Haroutounian, and Vitaly Bilyy. Richard Farnes conducts the production, which was directed by David Bosch.

Dr. Atomic

Nonesuch will release John Adams’ “Dr. Atomic” will Gerald Finley in the title role and Julia Bullock. John Adams conducts the BBC Symphony Orchestra and BBC singers.

Diva 

Deutsche Grammophon will release a compilation entitled “The Very Best of Anna Netrebko.” The compilation will include works from Rachmaninov, Puccini, Bellini, Offenbach, Verdi, Boito, Delibes, and Giordano among others. The album will also include the first CD release of “Non ti scordar di me,” which was recorded with Yusif Eyvazov.
