The Salzburg Festival has announced a cast change for its semi-staged production of “Lucio Silla.”

The company said Nina Solodovnikova will sing the role of Giunia replacing Sara Blanch.

The performance will mark Solodovnikova’s debut at the festival.

Solodovnikova is an ensemble member of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, where she has performed roles including Violetta in “La traviata,” Musetta in “La bohème,” Pamina in “Die Zauberflöte,” Micaëla in “Carmen,” Gilda in “Rigoletto,” Gretel in “Hänsel und Gretel” and Liù in “Turandot.”

Adam Fischer conducts the August 2 performance which will be directed by Birgit Kajtna-Wönig. The cast will also include Giovanni Sala, Xenia Puskarz Thomas, Martina Russomanno, and Lilit Davtyan.
