
Cast Change: Leonardo Sini to Conduct Deutsche Oper Berlin’s ‘Tosca’

The Deutsche Oper Berlin has announced that Leonardo Sini will conduct Puccini’s “Tosca” on Sept 6, 12, 22, and 29.
Sini will replace the late Antonino Fogliani, who passed away at the age of 50 on August 29, 2026 .
Sini is an Italian conductor who has conducted at the Teatro Donizetti in Bergamo, Teatro Carlo Felice, Teatro Petruzzelli, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Deutsche Oper in Berlin, Sydney Opera House, Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Royal Opera House Muscat, and Staatsoper, among others. This season he conducts productions at the Wiener Staatsoper and Hungarian State Opera, among others.
Sini will lead a cast that includes Aleksandra Kurzak, Roberto Alagna, and Vladislav Sulimsky.
