The Teatro San Carlo has announced a cast change for its June 21 concert.

The company said that Aleksandra Kurzak will perform replacing Sondra Radvanovsky, who was originally scheduled.

Kurzak is currently performing “Adriana Lecouvreur” at the Teatro San Carlo. Later this season she returns to the Arena di Verona and the Semperoper Dresden.

For this concert the Polish soprano will join tenor Freddie De Tommaso, and conductor Giacomo Sagripanti for a concert dedicated to some of the most beloved works in the Italian operatic repertoire.

The program features music by Verdi, Puccini, Mascagni, and Giordano, comprising a succession of arias, duets, and famous orchestral intermezzos.
