French soprano Cassandre Berthon has joined GM Art&Music for General Management.

Gianluca Macheda will manage her.

Berthon studied violin, chamber music, and music theory at the Conservatoire of Marseille and began studying voice in 1990 with Camille Maurane. She has since performed at the Opéra National de Paris, Opéra Comique, Théâtre des Champs-Élysées, Capitole de Toulouse, Grand Théâtre de Bordeaux, Opéra National du Rhin, the Royal Opera House in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Teatro Real in Madrid, the San Francisco Opera, New York City Opera, and at the festivals of Aix-en-Provence and Salzburg,

Her roles have included Zerlina, Susanna, Gilda, Octavia, Henriette of France, the title roles in Iphigénie en Aulide, Véronique, L’Enfant et les Sortilèges, and Massenet’s Cendrillon.
