Casa de Cultura de Buenos Aires Set to Present Eugenia Forteza & Eduviges Picone in ‘Con Fuoco’

The Casa de Cultura de Buenos Aires will present “Con Fuoco,” a concert featuring French-Argentinean mezzo-soprano Eugenia Forteza and Argentinean pianist Eduviges Picone, at their newly renovated Salón Dorado.

The showcase, set for Thursday, Dec. 18, 2025, will commence at 7 p.m. local time and features a program of works by Piazzolla, Ramírez, Puccini, Mozart, Bizet, and Bernstein, among others.

Forteza recently performed in productions of “Le Nozze di Figaro” and “The Tin Angel” with Teatro Grattacielo and has appeared in concerts with Spotlight Artists and Teatro Grattacielo in NYC, and Teatro Esperanza in Philadelphia.

Picone holds a conducting degree from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata and trained with leading maestros. A Menuhin Academy fellow, she toured with Camerata Lysy and performed with Yehudi Menuhin. She later earned a piano diploma in Milan. She collaborates regularly as part of the music staff of Teatro Colón and Teatro Municipal de Santiago, among other organizations.
